Innovation in Learning provides consulting and training in healthcare applications of simulation-based learning and virtual worlds.

Training

We partner with providers of virtual medical environments and train their customers in educational uses of these tools. Our first major partner is Forterra Systems who market a richly detailed environment to practice emergency medical procedures and team training. We provide training in use of this medical environment, in constructing medical emergency scenarios with a range of virtual patients, and in evaluating learner performance in these scenarios.

We present workshops at conferences and develop custom workshops for clients. We have a multi-year history in developing workshops for simulation and game-based learning. Our next workshop is:

Curriculum and Content

Simulation centers are springing up around the world but the associated training and curricular content lag behind the need. We offer pedagogic content development to healthcare institutions around the world.
